Charish Jane and Charishma

Behind the Biz: Entrepreneur Spotlight #7

Meet Charish Jane, Founder of Charishma

This week, we’re thrilled to introduce Charish Jane, an entrepreneur with nothing but a dream and an eye for beauty. She is the founder of Charisma and also the visionary behind the business.

From $20 to a Thriving Jewelry Brand

Charish Jane never planned to start a business. In the middle of the Covid pandemic, with less than $20 in hand, she began selling women’s earrings—just a small way to make extra income.

What started as a simple passion project soon grew into something much bigger. Every dollar she earned was reinvested, slowly transforming her small shop into Charishma, a Da Nang-based jewelry brand offering high-end yet affordable pieces.

“I didn’t know anything about running a business,” Charish admits. “I just knew I loved fashion and wanted to create something beautiful for women to wear.”

Does that seem familiar with Dung Nghi (Pam)’s story?. Just like the entrepreneurial journey of Pam, who went from cat-hater due to a bad childhood experience to pet advocate with a deep love for animals.

A Founder's Lesson

One of the best pieces of advice she ever received came from her mom: “Failure isn’t what holds you back—regret is.” That mindset pushed her to take risks, try new things, and keep going even when things got tough.

At first, she poured all her energy into improving her products, learning about business, and building her brand. But looking back, she wishes she had focused on marketing sooner—especially social media.

A quote from an entrepreneur:
"I didn't know anything about running a business. I just knew I loved fashio and wanted to create something beautiful for women to wear"

“I was so caught up in product development that I completely overlooked the power of visibility,” she says. “If I could do it again, I would ask for help earlier. I used to think figuring everything out on my own made me strong. But the truth is, asking for support is a strength, not a weakness.”

Learning from the Litter Box of life

Charish's biggest lesson? Stop treating your business like a side hustle.

A quote from an entrepreneur:
"Be deeply rooted in kindness and compassion. Prioritize intergrity over monetization, and always blend clear thinking with love and care"

“For so long, I held myself back because I didn’t feel ‘ready.’ I doubted my products, I doubted myself. But waiting for the perfect moment is a trap. You learn as you go.”

Growing up, she found inspiration in John Cena, who famously said, “If you want some, come get some!” That quote stuck with her.

“If you want something, go after it—no matter how hard it seems,” Charish says. “There’s no perfect time. Start now, trust the process, and believe in yourself. You’re more capable than you think.”
